At Capozza Tile & Floor Covering Center, we have set initiatives to become a more sustainable company.  As the company grows in size, we realize how important it is for us to reduce our environmental impact, and remain dedicated to continual improvement of our sustainability programs.

What we do:

Educate…
The commercial and residential staff at Capozza Tile & Floor Covering Center is dedicated to educating customers on the latest green flooring products.  We provide many products made through an energy efficient manufacturing process and with use of recycled content. 

Reduce / Re-use…  
In an effort to reduce our construction waste sent to landfills, we have partnered with both the Maine Building Materials Exchange and Habitat for Humanity.  We regularly donate flooring materials which were formerly classified as waste.

Recycle…
At Capozza Tile & Floor Covering and our sister company Old Port Specialty Tile, paper, plastic and cardboard generated by our office staff is separated from waste and recycled.

Learn…
As members of the US Green Building Council, Maine Chapter, Capozza employees take part in educational programs and other events offered by the local chapter.
